After a horrid drive, we decided to stop off at the Somerset Wagon for some food. First time we have ventured here even though we live in Radstock, we thought the staff were very inviting and attentive. There was a special menu of Duck Breast, Veg and Potato Gratin. This was absolutely Gorgeous, served on a hot plate, food was hot and very tasty with good flavours. Im sorry I wish I took a picture! My husband had the gammon and was equally impressed with the quality of food. Thank you. We will definately return again. The fire was lovely, great setting, felt cosy inside.

We saw the adverts for Thursday curry nights and decided to head down to try it out ahead of the quiz next Thursday 27th. We LOVED the home maid onion Bhaji and the curry was delicious- can’t wait to go again next week and try the king prawn pad Thai!!

Recently found the Somerset Wagon, living in MSN it’s a great local go to. Lovely staff, good food and friendly service and excellent value for money. Sticky Toffee Pudding is awesome…
